Mrs. Webb is the co-founder of SME and lead art instructor for the Explorers Club. She is a home educator to three children. Mrs. Webb holds a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising with a minor in Marketing from the University of South Mississippi. She led a full-time communications career including work with full-service advertising and event management agencies, as the Public Information Officer for MEMA, Communications Director for Governor Phil Bryant’s first term, and the Communications Director for MS Republican Party. As a former MAC board member, Mrs. Webb is a passionate advocate for the arts, especially the importance of the arts in education. She is a self-taught artist and art instructor. Her passion for art education fuels her desire for continuing personal education through research, online classes, and trial and error. It was Mrs. Webb’s lofty visions of excellence in art enrichment and the education of the whole person that propelled the Explorers Club to where it is today.
