Stella Maris Explorers is passionate about our mission to encourage art, faith, and science education in Mississippi. The Explorers Club is doing just that: providing access to high-quality lessons and manipulatives, superior art supplies, and field learning that would otherwise be inaccessible to our registered children. Mississippi homeschoolers do not have access to public funding or resources owned or activities organized by the public-school districts. Stella Maris Explorers was the first STEAM-based 501(c)(3) public charity on the Gulf Coast that addressed the needs of the homeschool community on a consistent weekly basis and is currently one of just two such organizations. SME believes all children regardless of modality of education (public, private, or homeschool) should have access to high-quality resources.
