Stella Maris Explorers offers science enrichment for club members using a unit-study approach that unites both faith and reason through topical study, discussion, and hands-on demonstrations and experiments. Children explore units focused on botany, marine biology, zoology, earth and physical science, human anatomy, outer space, and more.
The Explorers Club regularly complete projects to serve the local area. We also organize and host multiple community events each year. Explorers learn the value of serving others and have the opportunity to put their faith into practice for the benefit of those around them.
Learning with friends is one of the Club's primary purposes. It is a joy to provide the opportunity for our members to work together to complete science experiments, create art, and explore the world. Life is just simply better with friends.
We're not just learning about the world from a book, we are explorers! Field Trips to local STEAM related facilities and locations are essential to being a part of the Stella Maris Explorers Club! We've explored IMMS, the Sandhill Crane Refuge, and Pine Hill Nursery - to name a few
Club membership is for children in PK3-5th grades. Registration for the Fall 2023 semester is open!
